ok, going to be putting together a Bfe when the frames arrive in the new year, have started buying parts but not sure which rims to go for,
Have several bikes already mostly all shoed in mavic 717's
riding will be on singletrack as usual but with a bit more chucking it off stuff that you wouldn't normally do on a XC setup.
no silly carbon suggestions please,

I had a 819 front/719 rear on my Pitch - I weigh 16.5 stone and they stood up to the Mega just fine. Got Stans Flow rims now though but I've not really used them much yet - very easy to set up tubeless though.
Mavic 719s are quite tough and lightweight. If it's tubeless future proofing you want then 819 is the way to go IMHO.
I like the look of the sun equalizers myself, although i'd probably go for 819's as they are tubeless ready...
717s will probably have a limited life but they are stronger thsan you might think. if it were me id be going for a set of stans flows, probably as part of a hope hoops package, unbeatable at the price really. cant fault mavics though.
