Ortlieb Downtown with QL3. Bit big for a man bag but nothing attaches faster to a rack. And the QL3 leaves the fastening bits on the rack not the bike. That Ally bag is nice if you don't ride in the rain.
I have other panniers for the rain so this wouldn't need to be waterproof. It's just for quick spins into town.
Downtown sounds like a great bag but it does look a bit gimpish.
It's a briefcase rather than a "man bag", but it takes a 15" laptop easily and I use it for work every day, with and without bike. For a trip to town, my (much smaller) man bag sits in the permanently attached pannier of my dutch shopping bike.
