I know, I should be wearing baggies but they don't work too well for me. Who has used Endura tights and which do you think are the best? I'm not wanting to spend over £100, more like £50 but willing to hear any opinion. Thanks.

Do they have to be Endura?

I bought the Endura windex clip ones (assuming its bibs your after)been good and lasted well but the clips have been a pain I had to modify them to make them comfy with a camelback.

DHB ones at Wiggle start at under £20 and are good...

Just found Endura to be good, that's all. They don't have to be. So long as they're pretty warm and can be worn on their own in the winter. Not too bothered about waterproof as I have some Gore waterproof trousers I can put over the top if I need to.

The MT500 tights are pretty good - not as heavy duty as the bib Thermalite ones but warm enough and with zips on the back easy to get on and off.

The DHB ones at Wiggle are far better than endura IMHO..

I've got both, and prefer the Cheaper ones from Wiggle.

i like the 3/4 thermawhatsit for autumn/winter and start of spring - never feel the need for full length ones.

OKay, I'm in - I'll have some of these methinks:

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/dhb_Merston_Bib_Tights/5360038993/#size

However, I need the mediums according to the chart but I'm usually XL in Gore and L in Endura (even in XL sometimes). I am around 34 - 35" waist and 1m79 so medium would be perfect but it just doesn't seem right!

Anyone any experience of the sizes?

I've got a pair of Endura Thermolite Tights without the pad (so I can wear them over normal padded liner shorts, of which I have many pairs), and I think they are marvellous to wear (even if I feel a bit silly wearing them). They are really warm and comfy and well-made, and currently in the sale at Chain Reaction for 34.99. I'm 6'3'' with a 32 waist and the large fits me perfectly.

I'd be interested to know about sizing too. I've never had bib anything or tights. So do I buy them according to my height 6'(Large) or waist 32" (Small)?

they're stretchy, i'd go on height. i'm a bit over 6' and get large.

I'd agree.. my endura bibs ended up with a hole in them, which cost me £15 to have repaired, but the repair has come apart after 5 rides. The DHB 3/4 I have are warm and as comfy, and about half the price!

I've got Medium in both the dhb Merstons and a few Endura things and they're pretty much the same so I'd just go for your Endura size. That said, there's quite a lot of variation in my Endura stuff despite it all being the same size!

BIG FAN OF ENDURO EVERYTHING. My Enduro Thermolite clip things with a fantastic waterproof part at the front of the shin- SADLY - with tears in my eyes; have finally been replaced with another pair after 15 years of hard use!!!!. My DHB bib tights came unstitched after 2 rides but are comfy for spring.
I've also just bought some Scott ones which feel very comfy and warm - but have Scott written on them - I won a Genius so ok for me anyhow.
