I have just swapped the forks on my bike from 2014 Fox 32 Evo over to Rockshox Pike RCT3's.
My brakes are Avid Elixir 5 with 200mm rotor on front wheel.
Question - which brake adaptor do i need, in order to fit the front brake caliper onto the Pike fork leg?
Thanks.
If they are both post mount (I think they are) then the same one, have you tried that already?
They are both post mount.
The adaptor that was on the Fox 32's has 40mm PM written on it.
However, the mounting lugs on the fox 32 fork are far longer that the mounting lugs on the Pike fork, so if i try to use the old adaptor off the Fox fork on the pike fork, it is far too short and will not reach the caliper.
Posts might be longer, but they're also in a different place. Try it. If it doesn't fit, tell us in what way it doesn't fit.
Just realised the brakes adaptor was upside down....duh! ๐ all now sorted....
