looks very likely to be these, don't know from what dirction the photo was taken, just have to identify the Lochan!

Looks a bit like Ben More on the mamores, but I don't remember that path or those houses......................I'll get my coat

Just had a wee look at the map, and can't see owt like that in Kintail.
Might be just to the E of Beinn Bhan, on Applecross?

Lac Vert near(ish) Morzine? Drop down from Point des Mossettes and head round the back towards the GR5 back to Les Lindarets. I'm pretty sure the trail the bikes are on heads down to Morgins.

Jon is right, its the Portes du Soleil! I have just realized I rode that back in the day.
Here I am standing above it, notice all the peaks around are the same

I would say it looks far more Scotland than European, now...

Looks very Torridon-esque, to me (Wester Ross)
