Is it me or are new mech hangers a complete rip off? A little piece of forged aluminium and they want £15 for it. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper?

No such thing. That £15 is designed to save you more ££££. Cheap hangers are just that cheap, a cracking bargain 😉 but one you'll purchase every little knock.

Have a look on eBay in the US for a seller called 925engineering; I've bought hangers from him for around half that - he CNC's them all himself. Or herself, even. Being very sexist there. Sorry.
