I've got my eyes on a Nicolai Argon AM (not the Pinion geared version). The 2014 iteration is 650b. Alu, not steel though.

Yes yes yes, plenty of 650b bikes around, but where are all the frames?!

More specifically, where are teh 17/18" steel hardtail 650b frames with tapered headtubes that are designed for 140/150mm forks?!

genesis high latitude lt looks really nice in the flesh. thinking of building one up. in stock too which is useful.

Given that 26ers are getting rare a hen's teeth

they're not, they're really really not.

It'll be a few more years before that is even remotely true.

my dialled albert is 650b for the summer and then i revert to 26" to give a little more mud clearance in the winter

its more expensive than simply changing tyres with the seasons but it makes me stand out from the crowd
