Christ on stick the resevoir/master piston sticks out miles on the levers!
They'll look proper queer without shifters. Was pondering xtr vs R1's vs Mini pro's-thats xtr out of the running then.

New XTR cage pedals went on today as well, with winter boots on they felt great, didn't realise how much play there was in my old 545's....

Snakebite - it that an Evil Sovereign with those lovely XTR brakes?

I bet that's an awesome bike. Can we have a picture please?

BTW North West Mountain Bikes have XTR 10-speed shifters, cassette and chain in stock but no rear mechs as yet.

It is indeed. Liking the bike a lot, had it since July, its great. I'll post a pic later this weekend when its got its early Xmas present jewellery on.... and its clean after a Welsh weekend and a cannock nightride...

I have looked long and hard at the 10 speed stuff and decided yesterday to go with 9 speed drivetrain for now.... cant be doing with pins and chains an stuff..

My LBS has most of it in now as well, it looks nice, but pricey!

If anyone buys 2011 XTR brakes just make sure you dont wear the pads out.

second set of pads here ....if you worry about the price of the pads, you can't afford the brakes pauper. ๐Ÿ˜†
