hey all,
got down the 29er road finally after much delibertion im going to get some lighter wheels dont know wither to go machine built or hand built.
on my epic at the moment i have xtr stans 355 26 inch and are very light an reliable....
so i was curious to how much a pair of xtr on stans 29ers weighed?
any help much appreciated,either combined weight or front and rear wheel weight.

I have Stans Crest, XTR hubs, and built them with DT Revolution spokes.
Not weighed them, But they are light.
Note Revolution spokes are only suitable if you are fairly light [I'm 75Kg]
I just sold my set, new xtr hubs on crest 29 hubs and dt comp spokes and these were 1550 grams,
Have you thought about hope hoops?

@granny ring_ring - yes i has numerous occasions...thing is im probably going to break my 26 to make way for the 29 the 26 has xtr hubs already...
baiscally its a giant xtc 29er stock wheels ok but heavy was looking into the crank bro 29 cobalt 2's against building some stans onto my xtr hubs.
