[Closed] Wheel questions - Hope Hoops / Stans Flow / Tubeless etc

Hi all,
Just bought a new Lapierre Spicy and lovely it is too.

I reckon I can shave 1kg off it easy with some bits I already have and a new wheelset (which it could do with as the standard ones are questionable)

I currently have old Hope Hoops (Pro2 on DT EX5.1 D) and I could go down the route of converting the rear for the Lapierre 142mm thru axle but to be honest the wheels are 4 years old and would be no harm to replace them I guess, sell them and saves converting etc.

Wiggle are doing Hope Pro 2 Evo Hoops with Stans Flow rims for £260 delivered, seems like a good price?

The Stans Flow rims seem to be listed as a good AM/Enduro rim but the tubeless/stans no tubes bit baffles me.

Can I run the Stans Flow rims with tubes and normal tyres? Can I then at a later stage if required add tape and go tubeless? Is that how it works?

Or should I be looking at other rims?
