I have two brand new conti black chili protection tyres ready to go on my new Sherpa, a trail king 29x2.2 front and a 29x2.2 MkII for the rear, but was considering going back to Maxxis.
Anyone know if you can run a 2.4 Ardent on the rear?

Have emailed and Facebook but heard from Jamie at gravity bikes that Dan is off in Far East,or Australia.
I struggled with a 2.3 WTB Vigilante and settled for a 2.25 Trail boss on the back which just fits nicely. There's not an awful lots of stay clearance for mahoosive tyres.
Might aswell stick with the continentals then. I ran them in 26" variety on my bandit and loved them so shouldn't be any different on the Sherpa.
Finally decided to grab a pair of Hutchinson Toro's, anyone any experience, impulse buy based on some reviews.
