An unusual one, but what forks would be a good choice if you're not able to shift your body weight around - ie you're just riding at/into things?

They need to be for a 26" wheel, 1 1/8" straight steerer, and 9mm quick release, and limited travel of around 100mm. The bike has a head angle of 72.4 degrees and the standard fork rake is 40mm.

Is it advisable to go for the most expensive air fork I can find, or would some other technology such as coil spring or elastomers be better? Also, I've come across 100mm travel forks for 'jump bikes', but don't know how they compare to normal forks - are they too stiff for normal riding?

An old coil-sprung marzocchi? Not a jump fork though.

Thanks. Is that the Bomber, and if so which versions would work?

What about those German-A link forks - would they be a good option?

old fox vanillas can be had for not much money, speshly if 9mmQR, and are quality.
have not felt an air fork as plush.
i have a set of 130mm vanilla 32s that can be dropped to 100mm.
that'd be a good bet i'd say.

Don't use a jump fork, it'll be brutal for normal trail riding.
