thinking about getting a new to me soul i'm between 5'8 amd 5'9 have ridden 16 inch on-ones before and a 17.5 genesis altitude do i go small or medium, any advice or pics of your souls set up for this height would be a great help

I'm 5'9" and my medium is perfect. Either the small or medium might work for you though, depending on how you like your bikes to be setup.
How did you get on with the 16"? If it didn't feel too short then that'd probably be the better option.
I am a similar size. I have had a 16" and 18" One Ones and a small Soul and ridden the Medium. I reckon a 16" On One is more like the Med Soul, a small Soul can mean: lay back post, longer stem and not being able to put the longer seat post down enough (need longer post because of short tube and then the bottle blots are closer!) all of which is a shame on a Soul.
i'm 5'9" and ride a medium straight post & 70 mm stem, the fit is perfect.
