I'm looking for something lightish that will take a bit of a beating, a 2.4 (or even 2.5) tyre an is an appealing red colour. Kind of like a red ano Stan's Flow or Mavic 321. So what's out there?

On a more serious note have you looked at spank rims? they do all sorts of lovely anodised rims that'll take a hammering

most pimpy rims are for jumpy pumpy bikes so they are going to be hefty. Mainstream companies are only just being daring and offering white rims.

powder coat? there are some lovely fatbikes on mtbr with painted rims.
