So, I've done Dexter and Lost, Homeland and Breaking Bad, Heros and have tried Sons of Anarchy (but it's really bad) - what's the next box set to work my way through on Netflix, Amazon etc ?

House of Cards is very good. Sound is a bit weird via Netflix though. Really loud one second then you can't hear the dialogue next.

Game of Thrones, stick with the first series, then it really starts.

We are doing The Walking Dead, not sure I like it

Nobeerinthefridge - I'd love to get out night riding but Mrs Me is working a few evening at the mo so I'm left at home with the mini me's!

Think I'll give The Walking Dead a go.

Orange Is The New Black. Truly great.

If you want to go full moron and enjoy the cheese fest I'd recommend Prison Break, it goes oooon and ooon. Low budget entertainment, addictive like supermarket value bacon fries.

Oh, and 'The Killing' is quality. And 'The Bridge'

paulevans

Think I'll give The Walking Dead a go.

Oh you poor bastard. You deserve a medal if you get through season two.

I'll recommend Game of Thrones, Vikings and True Detective which imo trumps everything above. It's better made than 99% of films.

Person of interest, Californication, the good wife. Also worth trying some of the US stuff through Hola or similar if you have the technology to do it.

No one has yet said Hannibal, one of the best TV shows in years by an abosolute mile, True Detective as mentioned above also.

Walking Dead season 2 dragged, but it does improve, trust me.

I'm trying Orange is the New Black currently, OK but no Breaking Bad.

Orange is new Black - based on a true story and developed by the creator of Weeds. It is actually very good, and should not really be compared to Breaking Bad as nothing will ever be Breaking Bad except for Breaking Bad ๐Ÿ™‚

We just finished watching Lilyhammer on Netflix. It's no Sopranos, but entertaining and I really enjoyed it.

Oz. Needs a wee bit too much suspension of disbelief in later series but when it's good its bloomin brilliant. Just in case Breaking Bad was too cheerful for you

Scandal is worth a look. Starts slow but I was hooked after 3 episodes. Agree that Orange is the New Black is worth watching, along with House of Cards and Boss (kelsey grammar).

You could also try West Wing if you haven't seen that.
