Need some new road tires for commuting that can handle greasy roads, leaves on park paths and wet cobbles. What do you recommend? Current Michelins are just too sketchy
vittoria randonnuer
schwalbe marathon
michelin world tour
+1 for Vittoria Randonnuer's, just bough my second pair, first lasted 2 years and at £13 each are hard to beat. Just read the reviews on wiggle.
I like Michelin Krylion Carbons in 25mm width
Schwalbe Big Apple 2.3 . All the Cush of a mountain bike tyre with pot hole friendly comfort and stability, seem pretty good in the wet, they corner properly, are light enough in the folding version, got mine from on one.
Cheers all I will check these out as I was all over the place on the ride in today
I put on small block 8 CX tyres, still nearly as fast as my marathons but grip on wet slippery leavy mouldy stuff.
Are these going on road or mtb rims?
I rather like Conti Ultra Gator skins myself
