thanks for that, i have spoken to rourkes they suggested easton's, just trying to find out if there is anything else comparable that people recommend

The Eastons are nice and at that price as well.
Reynolds also make decent forks, worth a look.

easton ec90sl are very bling. If you are on the "more powerfully" built side as I am from my race snake days, they can be a little lacking in stiffness/steering precision.
