I've heard of many events new to me thanks to the forum, so what events are in the diary for 2016?

I've just entered

Mary Townley loop - 7th Sept

Isle of Man end to end - 11th Sept

Looking forward to both and will hopefully have a few more in the diary for July /Aug

This sportive near Banbury looks like a pleasant spin out and not too far from home for me. That's about it as I am very time poor at the moment. Daughter weekends, festivals and holidays are all eating into bike time.

It's called 'Watching the Hamsterley Beast while my son rides round'.

Soloing the Glentress 7 again but I don't have an XC bike any more so will be a bit slower than last, on the fatbike ๐Ÿ˜† And the Scottish Enduro Series Dunoon (never ridden down there, and there's a botanical garden and a ferry trip, win!), and No Fuss Kinlochleven enduro (because they're always so damn good- will be nice if I can avoid trashing my bike this year...)

Think that's it! Much less this year, I overdid it a bit last.

I'm part of a pair on the Glentress 7. First proper event I've entered so hoping it's a good laugh.

It's really good somouk- can be a fair amount of hanging around, in a pair but the routes have always been fun and the atmosphere's great. I'd sworn off this sort of thing after having basically zero fun at 10 Under the Ben but I did the first GT7 purely because we got free entries, and it was mint. Been back every year since, trio and pair and solo.

I'll be easy to spot on a bright yellow fatbike so if you see me, say hi ๐Ÿ˜†

I'm doing the Hamsterley TT tomorrow (17th), a downhill at Eastgate over Durham way in August I think and another Hamsterley TT towards the end of the year (can't remember exactly when, October-ish I think) on different trails to the first one ๐Ÿ˜€

About all I can fit in this year. Bad timing mostly, and the North Pennines MTB marathon/Garrigill Grinder sadly cancelled.

Edit: + Ride to the Sun on the "road" bike

PMBA Rd. 2 tomorrow.
IOM 2 day Enduro in July

Just need to get a couple events sorted for later on in the year and I'll be happy. New category this year, Masters. I have a sneaky feeling it's just as stacked as the Seniors so no0 hope of better results. ๐Ÿ˜
