My £30 sports direct specials have just died after 2 years.
Is there anything else cheap and cheerful worth considering. Budget up to £80.
Used with crank bros so cleats need to not protrude from sole. Also not massively heavy. Which rules out the cheap ravens on crc.
Cheers,
Mark
Wiggle DHB?
Entry level shimano from CRC/Wiggle
Aldi have cycle shoes in next Special Buys Cycling sale,£19.95 may be SPD compaible?.
On-One have quite a few starting at £19.99 On-One MTB Shoes
In your situation I check CRC, Wiggle, Evans, etc for what they have in my size. Old stock with not many sizes left often goes very cheap.
Shimano M089 for £60ish from Wiggle / CRC?
Specialized Ryme £60 if you shop around?
On-One have quite a few starting at £19.99 On-One MTB Shoes
Their £20 Agu Rhy ll MTB Shoe looks exactly like my Spesh BG shoes from a couple of years back.
I've also got a pair of the laced Carnacs, again £20, these are great SPD on the mtbs.
Might try the shimano mo89. Can't find cheap rimes in my size
Cheers

Try finding some mo88's. Picked up a pair brand new on eBay for 38quid.
I have a pair of those Agu Torquay shoes, bloody great! (bloody amazing for 25 quids)!
