[#588452]

today was a ride i really wanted to go on.

so i spent last night packing the car and double checking everythings there
so i get up early cos theres something i need to do before work,
i get to work two hours early - to ensure i can get everything done,
i work my arse off all day - so i can leave on time,
so 5 0 clock comes and im into the bike shorts by 5 past and in the car by ten past, drive for an hour to find the carpark where the ride starts from, drive around for a bit, can't find the carpark,
go to call someone - phones dead.

give up buy fish and chips and come home! i just spent three hours in the car and a 50 mile round trip. bollox 😳

fish and chips in lymington are nice though!

and 'the thing i had to do before work' was buy my collegues cake as i accidently flodded their lab, and then turned up when they had finished cleaning up my mess and asked for the mop!! they weren't best pleased!

not a good week - now i found out my dad took my helmet to work; and left it there!

Rock and roll baby.!

Did something similar a while ago. Drove for an hour and a half only to find I have no riding shoes. Not good with egg beaters.
