Looking for a 120mm 29er Fork, I have a 100mm Reba at the moment, one of my options for around £300 is to change the uppers for 120mm... but, before I do that, what else is out there worth considering ?
New Fox, DT or Reba XXs brand new are more than I want to spend, what are some of the new budget forks like ? Society, X-Fusion etc, would the best bet still be sticking with the upgrade above ?
IDEALLY, would want 120mm Tapered with 15mm axle.

Take a look at Manitou Towers if you're a lighter rider. You can get brand new sets for c.£290-350. Great small bump compliance owing to a little coil mechanism. (but this makes them wallowy/ not euro efficency-core compatible if you're a heavier rider)

What is your opinion about the the reba forks btw?
I had a Reba 120mm with Maxle. TBH wasn't that lmpressed. Tried other Rebas (non29er) & they were smooth but this fork was just not supple no matter how it was adjusted. Also felt very tall, but guess depends on the bike its going on.
Have an 80mm Fox F29 now, picked up S/H. Needs a service now but far plusher than the Reba.
I got some new 2012 120mm float f29s off ebay from a seller called theracket1 in Israel for £400 and they came in 8 days 😀
Taken the plunge and bought a x-fusion slide 29er fork. Will report back although it looks like there will be a wait until the distributor has them in stock here in the UK
I've found the Rebas really suppple. Like the Revs I had on my other bike just lighter and shorter. I would have prefered the Blackbox damper on them and I'm getting parts together to make them into blackbox.
I've decided to change the uppers on the Rebas than go with an unknown.
