Id like to try some different frames just out of interest with my current components over the next year before I join the 650b crowd, so looking for ideas on what was and wasnt hot a few years ago.

Currently I have a 2012 trance x built to a good Spec with components from that year, Fox float 140mm up front,rp23 rear. and a 2013 alpine 160 with 2015 pikes and monarch debonair.

(I can buy a shock if required but prefer not to)

Both wheelsets are 142 compatible so ideas please.

Ill start sb66c (can't find one though)

I've been on the look out for Bandit frame (they size up small so large=medium) seem very rare but can sell cheap when you see them. I gave away my Reign frame to an stw-er, you might try one as next bike "up" and between your Alpine.

Alternatively get a HT and keep it forever ...

I've got a spare banshee rampant frame you can try out if you like - its size is something like tiny ๐Ÿ™‚
