noticed what a clear weekend it was and decided it could be nice to see the sun rise. I drive along a road every day to work and see the sun rise (in the winter) and think how pretty it is and how nice it would be to concentrate on that rather than on the road.
Anyway finally got around to it, got up about 7am and it was about 2 degrees so pretty chilly but no real frost, which was nice.
Took many pictures and had the gopro out with a timelapse, but this was one of the best.

Well worth doing at some point. Can see myself doing bikepacking and encorporating a sunrise/sunset at some point in the near summer... 🙂

Agreed. Riding out at 8 this morning the sun was just coming over the horizon. Perfect, clear, crisp winter day. Zero dog walkers out that early either.

True, shame I'm on the wrong side for them! There's nothing half decent for a view without travelling some way.
