Having left it far too late the last 2 years I have planned ahead for once! Even if they don't get used this year they can be stored for future years. I'm quite chuffed with myself, but then I'm easy pleased 🙂

Just did same, some very competitive offers on eBay at the minute. Picked up a set of w-drives with alloys for less than the tyre cost elsewhere.

What kind?

Never really done th ewinter tyres thing, thinking I might lash a muddy mary on the front of the spicy this year though.

I bought good quality part worns (c.6mm) last year and a full set of alloy rims for the Mundane-o.
£80 for the rims & £100 fitted and balanced for the tyres.
Happy.
Usually drive to Austria/Italy for skiing but also found 'em invaluable back here too. Mine will go back on from about December to March.
