Hello, since last summer and returning to mtbing after breaking my back and collarbone motocrossing would like to add how brilliant a sport it is and addictive to boot, years ago i got gt zaskar and how things have changed, now i have a trek 9 full susser and its like a mini motocross bike what with all the suspention adjustment etc.
Any way back to topic, i have been riding almost every weekend when not motocrossing some natural trails and centres afan w2, multiple circuits of cwncarn and fod. Am looking into learning more trail knowledge and wonder what your thoughts are on Long Mynd route, Brecha Raven and Gorlech, Brecon Gap, Rhyader. Looking for long saddle time and reletive ease of navigation if not a centre.
So much to explore carnt wait!
All help much apreciated and sorry if a bit of a tale just intoducing myself to the community.
Hi, good to hear you're back on two wheels.
Maybe you could say where you're based and try to meet up with local riders?
Haven't ridden any of the places you mention apart from Brechfa, which is good enough fun but (IMO) best in the dry because the puddles just in front of all the jumps get really annoying.
might try and get to the long mynd .... just need to sort a route out, as only rode there once before ..... anyone got one ?
