Sealskinz were pants last night and that was just from trail spray, it wasn't even raining. Can anyone suggest a waterproof glove that actually keeps the water out?

- 1 SealSkinz gloves are pants. Mrs R's leak like a sieve and have nearly ruined rides. However, the socks are excellent. I've had better luck with Gore gloves.

Picked up a pair of Karrimor gloves in Sports Direct.
for the daily commute I wasnt expecting too much
for £9.99 but they have been great kept my hands
dry and warm in torrential downpours,a lot better
than the Pearl Izumi winter gloves they replaced

Yep, those are the ones. Only done a couple of wet rides with them and they've been a real let down. I think it might be a QC issue as my mate rode the same route with the same gloves and his were fine.

I have never had a pair of gloves that were actually waterproof for very long despite claims. I think the stresses are simply too much for them

The ones I have that I find best are the aldi winter glove - not properly waterproof but retain warmth when wet.
