A friend has £500 to spend on a fandf and asked me for advice. I know nothing about 29ers so I'm asking the stw crew to help please. He likes the look of the on one carbon lurcher and the packwood. ( he is stripping another bike for the rest of the parts). It will be used as a quick blast in the local forest (Woburn) and he is still also unsure whether to go full rigid or front suspension. He weighs roughly 12/13 stone and is about 5"9 ish. Cheers

same applies to 29ers as 26" bikes,if he fancy a ht with long fork go for it, xc race same.
Go try a few and buy the best one.
