Any good recomendations for riding in vancouver Island area in june? Were off on a holiday and could do with suggestions, not taking our own bikes but we'll rent ones out there if we can find them. Anyone been out there?

Was on Vancouver Island in 2004 and rode at Mount Washington. They had a hire fleet there if you're into your lift access DH riding. Was only there for a few days so didn't get a chance to ride anywhere else. As Jedi said there is loads of riding all over the Island. Riding fool is in Cumberland...good place to start!

we didn't ride on the island but spent a week there in a camper van.
Make sure you get out to Tofino and do a trip to the hot springs/whale watching/catching the hippy (and draft dodging) vibe.
forest walks around the Jordan river area are great.
long beach is a pretty special place to be at sunset.
I'd be interested in knowing if the riding is mostly freeride and DH. I'm just not certain my wife would be as enthusiastic as me, and woud prefer some cross country riding instead.
if you want freeride/shore go to the river.
cumberland is real nice for all biking
