no, genuinyl interested.
Rode the bridelway section (again) last week, and was thinking as I rode around Hallin Fell on the road,if it'd be worth looking at the footpath. Obviously when ultra-quiet...

You might struggle to find it quiet! December 8, 2008 midweek and there was a group out in the snow and ice walking from Patterdale towards Martindale. We thought we would have the place to ourselves on such a poor day.

It's beautiful, busy and not worth riding.far too rooty, steppy and lots of obstructions. Not at all like the the sandwick to glenridding section.
