I watch the first race on the UCI FB feed, but then the feed vanished.  Does it come back just before the womens race?

Evie Richards fainting at the end was pretty extreme, don't fancy cyclocross.

Great racing from GB 2 golds and Hattie Harnden in 4th! Not bad for a 16 year old!!

Woman and Men Elite races are blocked in the UK due to Eurosport buying the rights (so should be on Eurosport live)

U23 mens tomorrow should be live, where GB should get another medal.....

Didn't like the way Eve was carried to first aid ! Not very dignified 🙁 A chair or stretcher should have been on hand surely?

I wish CX had never got so popular. Now It has, Eurosport has got it's grubby hands on the coverage. Screw them all!

Enjoyed watching the juniors and u23 women, hope the elite women appears on YouTube somewhere in due course. Cracking looking course. Thought Ben Tullet might have overcooked the beginning when the other guy came back to him. As for Evie Richards, talk about leaving it all out on the course! Nuts!

Bit of both. Most seem to run 30-50mm deep rims.

Women's race is currently on YouTube at

Probably not for long though.

Pidcock then - what happened there ?

(Not just the start but looked like shit and consistently dropped time.  Poorly ?)

;-(

I really wanted VdP to win, he's been dominant in the WC and I couldn't see past him for the win.. thought VA had had it TBH..

Is sad.

it was a bit of a demolition job in the end, if it was a boxing match they would have stopped it in the 3rd

Van Aert was always gonna win this one, punchy and powerful rider and great runner.  VdP doesn't like to race from the back foot and Van Aert was just awesome today.  2'15" winning margin was nearly 1/4 of a lap!

I was watching live on the steep bank and the 1st time across the mud you could see Van Aert as the winner.

Awesome riding by WvA - the way he pulled away from MvdP on that first muddy drag was pretty ominous...winning the WC for the third time at 24 is pretty remarkable. Apparently his team's got a wildcard entry to Paris-Roubaix.
