My bike has been a PITA for the last few weeks with everything needing servicing replacing at once..

I've serviced the rear hub but found pitting in the cups.. replaced the headset.. I'm pretty certain that the bushings in my fork need replacing and it's developed a bit of a creak..

so I'm a little paranoid..

at the bottom of a fast loose doubletrack descent on sunday I heard a distinct twang and immediately thought spoke.. although the twang was much too deep and resonant.. more of a boing or a bong really..quite musical even..

well there was no broken spoke and I checked and they're all tight.. I can't see any frame damage after a very quick inspection..

any ideas..?

(I know that it was most likely a baby robin)

you know what..

I've been so paranoid that my bike is about to fall apart that I didn't even consider rock strike for a second..!

Considering the trail I was on etc that is most definitely the likely cause.. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
