Which made me wonder what other supermarkets could sponsor.

Iceland-Ineos is a great sounding oxymoron?

Your suggestions of supermarkets or other unlikely sponsors?

For Aldi it would have to be a 24 hour endurance race.

Jumbo-Visma might have a bit of potential?

I'd expect any supermarket would have to think carrefourly about sponsorship, it's a very competitive market and they'd need morereasons than just a catchy team name.

Didn't Lidl used to have their logos on the old deceuninck quick-step kit?

Have seen very little from the Lidl side; is it just the Belgian subsidiary sponsoring them? And as with Segafredo, they're just sponsoring the road teams....the MTB teams aren't included.

Do you think the team and maintenance dept will have to get all their gear from the middle aisle special offers?

Some of it is pretty good for the price, but availability can be a problem.
