Any idea were i can get a top bolt online for the rear shock on my trek fuel ex 8 2009 model. ta
Well you could trawl through a list of Trek dealers and eventually you would find one who actually has one in stock , he could send it to you although with bank holidays and places closing over Christmas you may well not get it until 2013 . Alternatively you could take a trip to your local Trek dealer who , I am 99% sure have one in stock . If you have your bike with you I'm sure they will even fit it while you wait . 😀
Ring Cheltenham Cycles on 01242 255414 after 9am tomorrow they may have one or can get you one.
Managed to break mine a couple of months ago.
Couldn't find one anywhere, LBS got one in but took a couple of weeks......

Or alternatively, try an engineers suppliers for an A2 or A4 stainless bolt with the correct length shank, and cut the thread to length. If Trek are still using ali bolts it'll be both stronger and cheaper. I'd also suggest checking your shock pressure too, bottoming out can often be the cause of broken or bent shock bolts.
