The local area is so sodden I went urban today. Took the bike down into Bristol this morning and explored the whole floating dock & river area - having never really been down there. It was great, cold, clear, loads to see and more places to eat and drink than I knew existed. Just pottered - most excellent. I have a feeling I may do this over Christmas, but with pubs in the mix and the Bath/Bristol cycle path too. I need the camera next time too - some brilliant buildings around there.

Cool, you can't beat a bit of exploring. There are also plenty of good places to muck about in Bristol city centre and practice your rad skillllllz, should you desire.

Not to mention the near-mythical Boxing Day Christmas Steps ride, which may be making a comeback this year. 🙂

Apparently the idea is a bunch of hungover or drunk people congregate at the top of Christmas Steps, then ride down them. The winner is the last person left upright. I won't be around on Boxing Day this year, but if you know Hopster on here, here's the guy to speak to.
