I'm off for a 50km in the Long Mynd tomorrow, should be interesting with "light rain" predicted all day! Haven't had a proper muddy ride for months.

don't ride them then. It's the difficulty and ****ing weather that makes it rewarding.

Yep I've wimped out due to fear of that slippy mud at the bottom of the little stretton descent with a not properly healed shoulder. That and driving 2 hours to ride in the rain. Yes I'm a girlyman fair weather cyclist 😆
