On my last ride, i had a flat on the trail and used the morph to reinflate. It would not 'enagage' the valve securely when the lever was pulled in place on the valve. I had to hold it in place otherwise it would just fall off. I had a look inside when i got home and the rubber thing inside the valve head is moving around - is this the problem? Any help appreciated

Have you got the internals the right way around for whatever valves you're using?

Have you tightened up the metal lock-ring enough?
It should be just tight enough for you to fit the head over the valve so that when you lift the locking lever it compresses the rubber grommet even tighter around the valve.
