19km in to work this morning, took just about an hour and ten, 55 minutes of which was offroad so no cars about. I did nearly get kicked by a horse though.
I wonder how many ‘normal’ people will get their bike out and actually cycle to work?
Very few, but it's more about publicising the idea of cycle commuting and getting people to think about it as something they might do regularly.
Normal day on the bike for me.
Same number of bikes in the shed, but someone has bought a new e-bike and someone else has a new Bianchi.
usual commute on my hacked/chipped Ebike so probably doesn't count! Nobody else on a bike as usual.
Cheated and shared a lift to Manchester with my partner (a rare school holiday treat), then rode the 20 miles back home. Lovely day, really nice and warm.
Does riding home from work count?

Wouldn’t that be nice? I ride in to work once a week, 17 miles each way, and have done so for the last 2 years. In that time, most people still think I’m a masochist and absolutely no-one else has taken it up. They won’t leave their lovely warm cars for anything.
