I have been infected by the rapidly spreading disease of gravelbikeitus.
Is it me or is Plant X’s Titus Goldrush just a rebadged, cheaper, better specced version of Sonder’s Camino Ti?
The geometry seems to be identical. Presumably these frames are made in China so they’re just selling the same factory product for completely different prices?
Don’t get me wrong, I love Alpkit, but the Goldrush seems too much of a bargain to miss.
Anyone got one?
I kinda like the idea of a CX/Gravel bike that can take a second wheelset for rougher/longer stuff.
But surely it would make more sense with 29x42 and 27.5x55 (ish) clearance, still both the same outer diameter but more useful in the real world? Or is 40-42mm seen as too much of a compromise and it's aimed at 28mm for the road and 47mm off road?

Yes, there was a batch of Titus Ti frames that, er, took heavy inspiration from the Sonder range. There was some forum threads about it.
I can't comment on the 650b wheels in much depth, I did one ride on them, and then put my best CX wheels on as the slicks were pretty sketchy in the damp.
It doesn't have stealth dropper routing, depsite what the PX site (still) says. I was offered a return when I queried it. Shame as I liked the idea of the option to put a dropper on a do-anything bike and it was the one feature that made me pick that frame, but I'm so pleased with it that I'm not going to send it back.
I like the fact that it's not heavily branded (there's no identification of the model / brand at all).

Not a Goldrush but I bought the P-X version of the Broken Road a few months ago and very pleased. Mine's built up as a 'rough gravel' bike but with flat bars. Frame has stealth dropper routing although I'm not making use of that.
