This reminds me of a question that I keep thinking of, but never get round to researching...

As far as I know, carrying things on your head is almost non-existent in Europe, but fairly common in other parts of the world - any ideas why?

Much more effective to use a water bottle or camelbak ๐Ÿ™‚

This reminds me of a question that I keep thinking of, but never get round to researching...

As far as I know, carrying things on your head is almost non-existent in Europe, but fairly common in other parts of the world - any ideas why?

It leaves their hands free for swatting flys and punching lions etc

I suspect foul play - the lass in the lead in the first part of the clip seemed to be obviously pulling away and set to win, but if that lady at the end was the winner, that's not the same one. MP eh? "Ok you go get out of shot while we get the local dignitary to come across the line as the winner"!
