great ride this morning, but also had a few good rides the last few days, so wanted to share the love! ๐Ÿ˜€

1) great trails - nicely frosty and snowy, so really grippy. Great fun!

2) mates- pushing each other and having a laugh. 2 quotes from this morning "you see guys, my secret is that I am mind *ing you on the uphills, I mean i am mind *ing you deep!" , and "AAAAArghhhhhh, that branch has bruised the end of my knob!"

3) clearing sections that are somewhat tricky, especially doing it whilst the whole time saying "shhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiii*****"

4) bikes that just work. After mashing my derailleur hanger a while a go, ****ing drive train was not behaving. Today was silent shifting perfection, and the rest of the bike was spot on.

5) FiveTen impact lows V AM 40s - 5-10s are better. Stiffer, grippier by miles, look less like golf shoes. Really happy with them after defecting to shimano for a bit.

6) recent thread with brandeberryj comments. Brilliant!

Have a great week y'all!

Kev

Hope this thread does not get deleted, impossible to post it without some inferred weary words. Sorry to those of sensitive disposition.

Love it when this happens. Unfortunately it lasts about a week for me before mud etc gets in and ruins any chance of a properly running drivetrain ๐Ÿ˜† hub gears are in my future.

Got out early today and loving the fast frosty conditions. As I was leaving it was all starting to thaw and get sludgy so I think I left at the right time! Nailing my drops and cornering today thanks to a recent skills session ๐Ÿ™‚
