Bike in lounge to save faffing in garage and waking neighbours at the crack of dawn. Change of mind with bike meant pedals needed to be swapped, mud tyres pumped, lube applied.

Just sat down for a beer, had better just make it the one though ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Looking forward to meeting everyone 8)

Helmet, shoes, bike & Camelbak ready in porch. 1.5 litre bottle of water for Camelbak in car. (Got a bit of an intermittant Camelbak bladder leak so best not to fill it til last minute). Motorway turn-off junction double checked & memorised. Parma ham for sarnies hidden from kids under salad tray in fridge.

Feeling a bit better after a knockout virus ๐Ÿ™‚ so I may slither up into the middle or even the 'ardcore ride group!

See you in the morning.

Yes I know I don't need mud tyres!!! But on a whim I went tubeless, on two sets of wheels!! I need to get my money's worth from the sealant ๐Ÿ™„

Feel free to laugh at me, I'm used to it ๐Ÿ˜†

ok, I'm now gonna stamp my foot. I would probably grind to a halt after a couple of hours, but should be a great day for a ride.

Blew the dust of an MTB (lying half-buried under a pile of road bikes) which I *think* just about works, half-packed the HAWG, got my clobber ready laid out, and I might remember to fill camelbak and make some sarnies in the morn.

Setting off at 7am. So time for beddy-by-boes, now.

Zzzzzzzzzz

All packed and early to bed at half ten so fresh.

That was the plan until my niece woke me up at 4am. Still awake and feeling knackered now. BLOODY KIDS!
