What bars are they?

Carbon Easton Havens

What's the hold up?

Not entirely sure... I think there may have been some sort of glitch in the order initially, so I missed the last shipment (no biggie as I didn't really want the frame in the middle of winter!), ETA is end of Feb hopefully, just getting impatient now it's imminent 😆

sack 'em, and get yourself to a decent bike shop.

Still an option TBH, they want to charge me £150 to build the bike up, wouldn't normally object (as I've sourced all my own bits etc) but they do owe me one for denting a frame a few years back!

1x10?

1 x 9 for now.

what frame?

Ibis Mojo HD 140 🙂

King Hubs in Mango, sweet loved that colour

Probably going to sell these actually, looks like I can get a decent deal on a set of I9's built on to Flows... I do love the Mango colour though, very spiffy 🙂

That is some very nice kit, and will go very well with the Mojo HD, when are you meant to be getting it?

Why the adjustable seatpost, have you ordered the wrong size frame?

Que? An uppy/downy seatpost is a near essential on this type of bike... they are the dogs danglies and the cats meow for a ride where the downs are as steep as the ups and there's plenty of pedaling to be done. Take it you're not a fan RD?

I had a set of the Mango kings, sold them on here.20mm front 12x135 rear.
Amazing finish,amazing colour.

£150 to build a bike,not bad,its a few hours work

Loving those haven carbon bars...off to have a look for some 😀

Bos Devilles, had my 140mm Devilles since xmas eve, have clocked up a fair few miles on mine, they are stunning, very plush, ride high in the travel and eat rocks/roots

i can understand adjustable seatposts for say...the mega-avalanche, but you can ride anything in the UK on a properly fitted frame/bike and get off the back of the saddle in control with a bit of technique surely? they just seem a "must have" gimmick that just adds unnecessary weight to me

Shall do, there's a fair chance I will, just need to confirm the price I can get the I9's for...

Good luck finding a pair in the UK, you'll need to order from the US I think, at the moment anyhoo. I picked mine up off the classifieds, OEM off a Slayer 70 I believe...

Not that much weight, maybe 600g for the Command Post vs around 200g for a Thomson, 400g is a small penalty for something so useful, and I personally use it a lot, each to their own I guess!

I9's,I had a set years ago,Mine ate bearings,Not too bad except one of them is I9 only.Amazing pickup though, look sweet.
I sold them and brought a set of Mavic SX's,just put my first set of bearings in them after just over 2 years, ridden twice a week, rain or shine.
Would have to change some of the bearings every 4 months on my I9's

Good to know my hubs have still never been built, would buy them back if they were red.

I'll build it for you for a few bottles of ale, I'm only round the corner.
don't be surprised if some of the parts are swapped for more suitable ones though from my parts bin.

I can build it up, I think, but would be nice to have someone else (with a proper workshop!) do it, pick it up ready to ride... I don't mind paying (usually), but this LBS does owe me one and I'm a tad disappointed with the suggested £150 charge, but we shall see how we go...
