Normally the webs that cover our tracks snap and you just keep riding. This morning however I was effectively wearing a veil on my helmet and couldn't avoid stopping to get this monster off as it was hanging right next to my left eye.

Not mine but Abigales birthday ride today. Wish I was on it with her.
That looks absolutely, bloody brilliant!
6pm start, 2,250ft of elevation and back before dark with dusty stanchions, can’t complain, though the wind was a little chilly.

Same as @halifaxpete - our local woods and tracks are now worth riding on the MTB again!
Classic low level XC woodland singletrack on the single speeds tonight with @hardtailonly of this parish. This route is beautiful, especially when the bluebells are out.

In London for two days starting tomorrow, so went out on my tod expecting the worse based on two days of constant rain. Was actually pretty good, very puddly but not muddy, all washed down the high street by the the look of it!
Also wanted to dial in the 'new' shock on the Yeti. Yeti base settings pretty close and a few tweaks and we're all green. Not sure of the efficacy of the shockwiz, but it feels way nicer than the DPX2 I took off.
Porlock this weekend. Very much looking forward to riding the new bike there.
Little blast on the canal

Just grabbed the ebike and chucked a quick couple of hours in before the rain descends. Only the one pic

Tried to ride the Afan Skyline trail today, there were lots of diversions and lots of fire road without much reward but it was a good day out until the hail started 🤣
Trying to get fitter so left the e-bike at home and the Bird got an outing 🙂

The delights of the Mary Towneley Loop today. Well, Widdop to Walsden, then decided I fancied an ice cream and a pootle back along the canal instead.

Spin out last night before the rain arrived to turn everything to slop again, gorgeous evening for it!

Monday evening at Black Rocks.

Unfortunately, Tuesday evening didn’t go as planned as my front brake decided to disappear while in the car. I tried a shop in Matlock but as I didn’t buy the bike from them there was a two week wait for the workshop.
In and around Eartham Woods and up to Whiteways Cafe. 36.7 miles, 2350 ft elevation. Sheep shit in all the hard to clean bits.

Well i guess the nice weather had to come to an end sometime! Last night's ride across the top of the Bannau Brecheiniog turned a little damp halfway round. Still a great evening ride mind, but wetter than an otters pocket. At least the rain was a bit less cold than in winter.

Sendz on Tuesday night before the rain arrived. Fantastic evening for it

Somewhere on Dartmoor.
Amazed at what a leccy bike can climb up. Riding bits it's was difficult to walk up.

Like many others, I headed out for a spin earlier in the week before the rain started coming down! North Third reservoir, looking over towards the Trossachs.
Cheeky trails evening 🥷

Beautiful night for a spin in Lapland. Just in from a relaxed 50k around this lake in pretty much perfect conditions. Cycling is ace👌

Balmoral today

Fab ride out on the 'Doward' side of the Yat. Ticked off our favourite trails and added a new spicy one to finish. Riding brilliantly just in time for the rain to ruin it. Chose to ride tonight rather than stay in a soulless hotel some 180 miles away. That means a 5am wake up call, but I definitely chose well 🙂

Cut gate plus extras from last night 👌

Cut Gate video from last Friday, thanks to @el_boufador for the info.
Quick blast after work, sadly cut short by the rain and my poor choice of clothing...

No rain forecast, but possibility of a storm, so took a coat in my bag
Wanted to get one last run on a certain section before the bracken completely takes over. Was just passable 🤣
Absolutely biblical with rumbles of thunder for most of the return leg - much of which was across a very exposed field and then a descent with a river running down it.
I was still soaked when I got back, but glad of the coat nonetheless

Almost mid-summer, longer than usual weekday nightride.

Purbecks this morning.
