No pics tonight, but managed to dodge the storm. Wind, the blackest of clouds and the threat of some serious rain was ever present, but the gods were with us.

A few PR's through the trees in the dark - it's amazing what you don't see to slow you down when you're focused on the light in front of you.

Spent a couple of hours at Woburn getting my confidence back on the bike. Bloody love it there, Transfer Line is still one of my favourite trails to ride and I've built myself back up to hitting the last jump (not quite clearing it yet though) which is a big achievement for me. Was feeling pretty shitty about not being able to ride how I used to so really happy with progress today 🙂 these trails are what I love about riding, just fun jumpy DH.

The skills area is perfect for practicing jumps to get the feel back for them. Nothing gnar but at least I can clear them now and without dead sailoring.

Riding out of Daegu. This is a cycle path, not a road.

Very dry and mild out last night.

Dryer than expected trip into town via lap of the golf course last night, evening uplift at Okeford bike park planned for tomorrow.

Finally made it one of my local Underground Enduro Community rides this morning. Eebs, FS and me at the back 🤣

It’s a different way of seeing a lot of the tracks I ride regularly as the emphasis is more on the downhills.

Lots of chatting at the top of hills… no time for photos on the way down!

I've hardly been out in the light lately. Missed out on weekend riding due to stuff/life/not going out in that. Had a meeting cancelled this afternoon, took one look at my massive todo list and decided me and the 'big dog' would instead relocate to the outside office for some blue sky thinking 🙂

First time I've ridden the Giga for months. What a mighty MTB that is!

Doesn't really show it, but last trail was ridden into the setting sun.

I wasn't sure if 415 pm was a bit early for a beer. But quickly decided it wasn't 🙂

Stayed at my sister's last night then rode into Wigan for the train home (and to work) along the resurfaced canal path this morning. My favourite kind of weather.

Glorious ride at Eastridge today, although Oil Can was a lot more entertaining than one might like. Then a night ride with my daughter. Whose reflexes and eyes are clearly better than her old dads. 🙂

Well it’s the time of year I start modifying my bikes to better manage the weather.

Not yet sure if the cooling offsets the weight and steering issues and I haven’t sourced a reducer for the hose to a 14g cannula, but it’s only a prototype at this stage.

Not been very well the last couple of weeks so I've done very little riding.
Today i started to feel a little better so headed out for a few laps on the eeber.

4 degrees and rainy in the valley so thought all the snow would be gone...

Sheet ice with water running on top of it on the fire roads and snow that was just the wrong consistency to ride at the top.

Great to be back out on the bike again despite the conditions.
