Messing about at Risca bike park with the young bucks (I didn't go off it!)

Haha yep. Was a good ride tho despite getting lost multiple times and losing a rider due to a mech collapse.

Singlespeeding his ebike on lockout got him just about limping the 5 miles back along the tarmac 20250202_111338

Blue skies, dry trails, bit of an explore of some older trails - good day!

Bloody hell @fat-boy-fat, that sounds horrendous.

Weekend almost over before I snuck in a short, sharp ride while the mini-a11ys were playing waterpolo (brutal sport!). Precisely the type of ride I bought the e-bike for - managed a lot more distance/elevation than I'd ordinarily manage in the short bit of time I have.

Contemplating 'stuff' and taking in the view. Then set off furiously on a slippy and muddy descent with a few twitchy arse moments. Brilliant!

Dumyat?

Well spotted. Just a half-Yat, photo just before the steep bit at the turn off towards Witches. Few laps of uni woods, then Mine woods, then Kippenrait. Same bike as yours I think, Heckler SL? 22km, 700m elevation, 1hr20min with right mucky, draggy conditions, 49% battery used and not being shy with purple mode.

I think my Heckler SL might be a little bit ill after it's swim. About to transfer it to the living room to let it dry our properly.
