Any locals know if the logging/tree felling will balls up a gap ride this weekend? I heard there was some work being carried out.

If you mean the Brecon Beacons, your main problem will be 1,000 riders doing the Beast event...

Does that use the gap trail at all?

Yes, hence why he mentioned it. LOL.

Well it makes sense fella.. .He specifically stated that's where everyone would be. I assume it's because he's either done the event or knows someone who has.

I was going to type the exact same thing he wrote initially.

If they didn't go within 10 miles of the trail, then neither of us would have mentioned it.

The beast trail isn't published, lots of trails up that way. Whatever. Should have asked elsewhere.

The Gap isn't always included in The Beast route.

It most likely will be on the route as it's kind of the highlight of the Beast. To be sure, bell Jason at Biped cycles in Brecon - he's organising.

...alternatively come to the Black Mountains instead and do the killer loop, everyone else will be on the Beast and you'll have it to yourself. It's been nice & dry round this way lately!

Gap wasn't featured last year but on the organisers website it says they will be including it for both routes this year.
