Thanks to Chevin Cycles for organising the Gary Fisher demo day and the opportunity to meet the man himself, the ride was enjoyable and it was well organised, i have seen mixed reviews on here before but today was first rate and credit where credit is due.

yeah I thought it was good too. What time did you ride? if it was10.30am, I was the slowjo pushing a Roscoe up the first b/w climb. Sorry but I've never been able to ride up that, let alone after hibernating for the last 3 months

I was 10:30 to, and don't apologise, enough people have waited for me before and it was nice to see that everyone was more than happy to wait, I was on a superfly, really impressed with it

I did like the Roscoe. Like my Cake, but stiffer & newer & cleverer 😉

Simon - I went to the Klunkerz showing last night. It was a good night, very nice pint by the open fire in the pub opposite beforehand. was pleasantly surprised when arrived at the venue and there was a bar - bottle of Newcastles own fighting brew thank you. The film was very good - great insight in to the evolution of the mountan bike. Gary's Q&A was very intresting, he came across as very passionate about cycling. Had a chat with him after, very approachable (i've met him before soI knew he would be)
But the highlight of the evening had to be his suit - WOW!
You had to see it to believe it - hope someone has some pics to post up - could possibly be persuaded to get one for work etc.

Top bloke - top night - cheers Chevin 😀

I noticed you videoing Tom. He can't half talk, although like a lot of politicians he had a bit of dificulty answering the questions that were asked without going off at a tangent. 😆

I was there too at the Klunkerz showing. Really enjoyed it - having been introduced to MTB-ing by my other half I didn't know a whole lot of the history to it was really interesting. Beforehand I wasn't really sure Gary Fisher was going to be like - he was so passionate about the sport and bikes, and came across at as a really nice bloke. Really good event.
