[#3833724]

Need a different tensioner for an Alfine hub on a hardtail. Currently have the 'unsprung' shimano version which is only held in place by the hub nuts and shakes loose/becomes loose as the chain stretches.

Rohloff one in the spares box can't be adjusted for middle ring use.

What's recommended/reasonably priced?

I'm using a superstar sprung one on my alfine. Considering its on a full suss so chain length and tension are changing constantly I've never had a problem with it.

Don't even seem to be able to browse the Superstar site without logging in (?!). Can't log in, can't seem to set up an account, can't seem to get a password reminder.

How about the old style alfine tensioner?

Second the old style Alfine tensioner, absolutely rock solid bit of kit.
