Haven't tried one, so I'm interested to know if it's just marketing or can you notice a difference with a larger head tube?
Standard 1 1/8th looks nicer to me, and I suppose saves a tiny amount in weight.

A bit, but not as much as I noticed when I went to 15mm from QR.

None at all for me, personally. It'd all marketing I think. 1.5" would be way cooler in that respect as well.

Yep. Big difference: The forks were £200 cheaper than non tapered ones! 😀
