I'm working in the Wokingham area for a few weeks and was wondering whether there are any group rides that go out on weekday evenings?

Alternatively, does the way marking allow you to piece together a good circuit through the woods? I gather local knowledge is a must.

To get much out of Swinley, you need to know the way around. I went with friends who ride there regularly and it turned out they missed a lot of singletrack out on their usual routes.

I ride to Swinley from Wokingham weekday evenings from time to time. Riding tonight as a mater of fact.

Could be persuaded to come out one evening next week.

There isn't any real waymarking, and some of the stuff you'll only find if you spend about 3 years riding there regularly ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm in Wokingham but won't be out this week, don't go on your own, you'll spend 3 hours riding allong fire roads and think it's crap.
